Open Educational Resources (OER)

As indicated by Unesco, Open Educational Resources (OER) are learning, teaching and research materials in any format and medium that reside in the public domain or are under copyright that have been released under an open license, that permit no-cost access, re-use, re-purpose, adaptation and redistribution by others.

We have been sharing such resources for years. To make them easier to identify, we have grouped them together in this space dedicated to Open Educational Resources (OER).

This editor aims at providing teachers with a way to easily convert a slideshow into an online course, so that they can experiment with hybrid pedagogies of the blended learning course type.

Three examples of self-assessment activities with hp5

For self-assessment, single-choice MCQ and multiple-choice MCQ questionnaires are not very user-friendly. Three other types of more playful activities are Drag-and-drop on an image exercises , Gap fill in texts and Categorization exercises.

Here we share three examples of such activities carried out with an open source and royalty-free environment called H5P.

H5P technology poses some deployment challenges. That's why we've prepared a second, much lighter set, also developed in html 5.

Curve digitization package

To facilitate the digitization of curves, we have created a small utility that allows you to display on the screen the previously scanned image of a graph, then to very easily record the points of the curves you are interested in (up to 2000).
