The diagram editor allows one to graphically describe the system studied.

It includes a palette comprised of the various Thermoptim components (process-points, heat exchanges, compressors, turbines, combustion chambers, expansion valves, mixers, dividers, separators). They can be displayed on a working panel in which the components are located and connected by links.
