Updating Thermoptim's working files
Introduction
Two work files are essential to the operation of Thermoptim and may have to evolve: inth2.zip and extThopt2.zip:
the first ensures the translation of the screens in the different languages and therefore depends on the one you use;
the second provides the interface between Thermoptim and the external classes. It complements the extUser2.zip file, which contains the external classes specific to your own needs. inth2.zip and extThopt2.zip are updated by the Thermoptim editor, and extUser2.zip by yourself, following the instructions given on this page.
It may be necessary to update inth2.zip and extThopt2.zip when updating Thermoptim or to be able to use external classes developed after the version of the software package you are using.
Once the files are downloaded, place them in the Thermoptim installation directory, after taking the precaution of keeping a copy of the old ones so that you can return to the previous configuration in case of difficulty.
If any external classes specific to your own needs have been placed in the old extThopt2.zip, retrieve them and put them in extUser2.zip, following the instructions given in this page.
